Media Relations
Press release services. From simple proofreading to writing and distribution, make sure your media outreach is accurate, timely and – above all – effective for your organization, campaign or event.
Media and public relations strategy and planning. Making sure your message is communicated and understood takes planning. Whether you are promoting a one-time event or are raising public awareness of your business, non-profit group or campaign, having a competent plan in place is crucial to your success. I will help you write and execute that plan.
Spokesperson services. When the public and/or the media has questions, having an experienced spokesperson in front on the camera, microphone or reporter’s notebook increases your ability to stay on message and helps the media to fully understand that message and report accurately about you, your event or organization.
Crisis management. Poor media and public relations can make a bad situation worse. I have experience on both sides of the camera – as the interviewer and as the interview subject. Let me help you prepare for the tough questions (or be your spokesperson and field them so you can concentrate on addressing the issue at hand) and provide the solutions to handle media inquiries and information distribution.
Corporate Communications
Internal communications. Business and non-profit communications is not limited to press releases. Get the messaging right to your employees. I have several years of human resources experiences, so I can keep your internal communications efficient, effective and beneficial to your workplace culture. Don’t risk miscommunication at work!
External communications. Press release, media relations, spokesperson and crisis management services are all available without the long-term consulting contract that takes up your time and money. I want to analyze your needs, help you develop the solution and execute the plan successfully, not lock you into a contract so I can invent fictitious needs for my services later.
Ghostwriting and newsletter writing. Whether you need an effective article to appear in the newspaper (or on an industry related blog, website or other publication) or just need solid writing in your company newsletter, I will make sure your message is communicated effectively.
Campaign Communications
You do not need to spend a fortune of your (or your donors’) money to reach out to voters and the media. I’m not another political consulting “wannabe”; I have worked in high level management on a national campaign and have won two local elections as a candidate. I have also worked on issue campaigns in a variety of levels and am often called for advice from those in office. The one constant factor in politics is the need to develop your message, target your audience and make that message work for you on Election Day.
